The sophomore album of the band Owl City, released March 17, 2008, is named Maybe I'm Dreaming and consists of 12 tracks. Adam Young, the sole member of Owl City, builds from his skills learned on making Of June, his first album, and released an even stronger second album. This album sticks to the pop/electronica genre as Of June, and is similar to bands such as The Postal Service and has been compared to the likes of Death Cab for Cutie. The 12 songs on Maybe I'm Dreaming are mellow and relaxing and the lyrics are upbeat and positive. The album combines synthetic sounds with drums and acoustic guitar.
