Alligator Sky
Alligator Sky by Owl City is the first official single for his album All Things Bright and Beautiful. The song was released on April 12, 2011, and features Californian rapper Shawn Chrystopher. There is also another version that is featured that includes rapper B.o.B. Owl City's Adam Young stated in an interview with AOL music that he wanted to experiment with different sounds on his album All Things Bright and Beautiful. Young states that Alligator Sky pulls in a hip-hop vibe..."I'm a big fan of the way hip-hop music is put together and everything that goes into it -- being so beat-heavy and just focusing on the rhythm side of it, sometimes more than melody. But I wanted to marry those two ideas and just focus on the rhythm side of it then have this rapper do verses just as a new look to it."
Alligator Sky Music Video
A music video for Alligator Sky is set to be released May 6th. Adam Young said that the concept of the video is about two men leaving earth and there is a big celebration. Both Adam Young and Shawn Chrystopher are confirmed to appear in the video.
